ANOTHER BATTERY INDUSTRY EXPERT JOINS SEC
SEC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Emanuele Paese to our team in the role of European Sales Director. An experienced battery industry sales and marketing executive, Emanuele has spent the past decade helping businesses to expand internationally.
SEC will be taking advantage of his many skills to grow market share in Europe. Read on to discover why we’re excited to have Emanuele on board and find out his recipe for success.
A SALES LEADER WITH A STRONG CROSS CULTURAL BACKGROUND
In addition to his native language, Italian, Emanuele is fluent in English, German, French and Spanish. But, he believes that building strong cross-cultural battery industry relationships requires more than just language skills. Emanuele lists careful listening, the ability to understand clients’ fundamental needs, and an understanding of cultural differences as fundamental to the successful development of international business.
As such, our new sales director is an enthusiastic traveller and a keen observer of cultural norms. He honed his cultural sensitivity while gaining valuable experience managing multi-cultural teams selling in markets across Europe. Incidentally, those efforts contributed toward creating revenue streams of tens of millions of Euro for his employers. Emanuele is also an accomplished multi-lingual public speaker and presenter, having represented his employers at energy focused trade shows, conferences, and other industry events across Europe.
A RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
In the past years, Emanuele helped companies in the energy sector – and in the industry of electronic components – build and manage their European sales and marketing teams, expanding from a local base, to a strong market presence throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. During this time he was able to achieve outstanding results such as boosting revenues from one to over 20 million in the Italian market alone in his first year at Innotech Solar. And, leading his team at ECOM Trading to deliver five steady years of increased market shares and results. If asked for his recipe to success, he stresses the importance of the following three points. Maintaining a customer-centric approach, implementing well aligned marketing and sales activities, and forging ahead with a clearly defined sales process.
LEADING SEC’S EXPANSION THROUGHOUT EUROPE
In 2016, Emanuele will be leading the effort to expand SEC’s battery industry distribution network, creating brand awareness for our industrial batteries throughout Europe, and bringing new companies into the SEC Partner Grid program. He will be based in Germany, a main battery market for most applications, but he will travel extensively throughout Europe to open new markets and develop new partnerships. Whether you are a marine distributor in Greece’s busy maritime market, or active in the solar industry in Spain, you can be sure that he will be extremely excited to discuss your needs.
GIVING BACK TO COMMUNITIES
Emanuele is also keen to pursue SEC’s mission of authentic corporate social responsibility. He’ll be helping us to support the wide-spread adoption and commercialisation of renewable energy resources into communities where it’s lacking.
